This notice covers strig.io, operated by Strig Security. It does not cover the Strig product running inside a customer build — that is governed by the agreement for that deployment.
What we collect
If you request access or send a message, we receive:
- Name and work email
- Company, and role if you provide it
- The message you write
We do not require an account to browse the site. Forms include a hidden honeypot field to reduce spam; we ignore it unless it is filled. Request forms also use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a cookie, to tell humans from bots.
Why we use it
To respond to your request, send install instructions when we approve access, and keep a record of who asked. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Site analytics
We record page views and which links, buttons, and forms people use, so we can see how the site is working. Events include the page path, a short label, and the link target — not the contents of a form. This runs on Cloudflare (Web Analytics, Zaraz, and Analytics Engine).
Who processes it
- Cloudflare — hosts the site, forms, analytics, and Turnstile bot checks.
- Email delivery — we send inbound requests and replies through our email provider.
We do not pass your details to other marketing tools.
How long we keep it
Form submissions stay as long as we need them to handle the request and any evaluation that follows. Analytics events are kept as aggregated counts, not as a profile of you.
Your choices
Email us or use the contact form to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you may also have the right to complain to your local authority.
Changes
If this notice changes in a material way, we will update the date above. Continued use of the site after that date is under the revised notice.
